Frosty Winter

I was delighted to welcome a design from Alyson Chu this issue and her chic George Street Jumper is a beautiful marriage between stylish garment shaping and luxurious West Yorkshire Spinners yarn for a wearable, versatile pullover. It would look great with the super-chunky Round and Round scarf or even the oversized Shimmer Snowflakes wrap, make them all your way! Or why not pair Susanna Biaye's Weekend Tartan scarf with the Easy Slip on Sweater? No matter what your style is, I'm sure you will find a new winter favourite this issue.

If you fancy hooking up something a bit more fun, you will have endless fun with The Wonderland Gang! Alice in Wonderland is one of my favourite classic stories, and each new iteration of it, whether in film or on my hook, delights me! We also continue with the A Stitch in Time Zodiac CAL with Sagittarius, all my fellow Sagittarians, raise you hooks!

As ever, I try to bring you the absolute best patterns when it comes to blankets and home decor, and I think you will be pleased with the Kris Kras Blanket which is super easy to style to fit your home, or for something a little more wintry check out Catherine Noronha's Snowstorm Blanket, and don't go anywhere until you check out the Box of Delights Doorstop.

This month your print copy of the magazine comes with an exclusive finishing set, including super-cute snips (perfect for on the go), darning needles, and 6 fabric labels so you can add that extra-special finishing touch to your makes, whether for a gift, or perhaps at the back of a jumper so you know which is front and back?
